Surface Preparation: The existing exterior wall surface is cleaned, repaired, and primed to ensure proper adhesion of the EWI system.
Insulation Installation: Rigid insulation boards are attached to the exterior wall using adhesive and mechanical fixings. These boards improve the building's energy efficiency by providing additional thermal insulation.
Reinforcing Mesh Application: A reinforcing mesh is embedded in a base coat of render over the insulation. This mesh adds strength and stability to the system.
Base Coat Application: A base coat of render mortar is applied over the mesh, ensuring a smooth and level surface.
Finish Coat Application: The final layer, known as the finish coat, is applied. This layer can be customized in terms of texture, colour, and finish to achieve the desired aesthetic.
