Internal Plastering
Plastering:
Plastering is the process of applying a smooth and even layer of plaster material to interior walls and ceilings. It involves spreading a mix of gypsum-based plaster onto surfaces to create a finished and aesthetically pleasing surface. Plastering is used to cover imperfections, provide a smooth base for painting or wallpaper, and enhance the overall appearance of interior spaces.
Plasterboarding (Drywalling):
Plasterboarding, also known as drywalling, involves the installation of gypsum board panels onto interior walls and ceilings. These panels are attached to the structural framework of a building to create a smooth, flat surface. After the installation of drywall panels, joints and seams are taped before plastering is carried out. Plasterboarding is a common method for creating interior partitions and surfaces in modern construction.
Screeding:
Screeding is the process of applying a level and smooth layer of material (usually a cement-based mixture) to the subfloor or substrate. It is commonly used in flooring applications to prepare the surface for the installation of floor coverings like tiles, hardwood, or vinyl. Screeding helps to correct unevenness and irregularities in the subfloor, ensuring a level and stable foundation for flooring materials. The screed can also incorporate underfloor heating systems in some cases.
